The Realm Hopper Pathway

Type 7 The EnthusiastScholar SoulShamanic Healing

You hop between realms - collecting knowledge from every dimension you visit.

What do you do when you get bored with a subject? You don't drop it. You find the angle nobody has mapped yet, the question that opens a door into an entirely different field, and you walk through it. The answer to that question is this: you collect. Not things, not achievements. You collect what each world knows that the others don't. And you carry it all back.

About INTI NAN

INTI NAN is a self-discovery framework grounded in Andean Q'ero cosmology. It maps three dimensions of who you are: the Enneagram type that shapes how you act in the world, the Soul Type that names why you came, and the Healing Path that names how you return to wholeness. The convergence of one of each produces 189 unique pathways. This is one of them.

About the Name

The Realm Hopper names the Scholar Soul's drive to gather knowledge from every available source, amplified by Type 7's hunger for new terrain, and carried through Shamanic Healing's literal movement between worlds. A realm is any domain of knowledge or experience distinct enough to have its own rules. This pathway hops between them by design.

How This Pathway Shows Up

You leave every conversation knowing something the other person never expected you to ask about.

Pay attention to the moment you announce a new obsession to someone who has heard three others this month. They brace themselves. You don't notice. The curiosity is already running, and your track record shows it leads somewhere worth following.

  • In a meeting about one project, you ask a question that belongs to a different department entirely. People pause. The question was the right one, and it turns out the answer matters here too.
  • You are six tabs into a research trail that started with a recipe, passed through food chemistry, and landed on a paper about fermentation in pre-industrial societies. You close none of them.
  • Someone tells you they work in a field you know nothing about. You ask them three questions before they finish explaining what they do. The questions are not polite. They are genuinely specific.
  • You explain your most recent obsession at dinner. Halfway through, you connect it to something you read two years ago in a completely unrelated field. The connection surprises even you.
  • A conversation stalls. You redirect it toward the exact angle that brings two people who were talking past each other into the same frame. You didn't plan it. You saw the overlap.

The Three Worlds Within You

INTI NAN maps three dimensions: who you are now (Kay Pacha, Enneagram), why you came (Hanan Pacha, Soul Type), how you heal (Ukhu Pacha, Healing). Your pathway is the convergence of one of each.

Guardian Puma · This World · Type 7

The Type That Keeps Moving

Puma follows the next edge not from fear of stopping, but from appetite for what is there.

Type 7 in Kay Pacha is the Enthusiast, and this pathway expresses that type through the body of a Scholar. The appetite is real: every closed subject is a loss, every open question is a live wire. The risk the type carries is avoidance dressed as curiosity, moving fast enough that nothing difficult gets fully examined. In this pathway, that risk collides with the Scholar's compulsion to finish the thought, to account for all the data, to not leave the map incomplete. Puma moves forward, but forward here means thorough.

Guardian Kuntur · Upper World · Scholar Soul

The Soul That Must Know

Kuntur sees across distances because altitude gives it what ground-level perception cannot.

The Scholar Soul, Yachaq in Quechua, arrives with a specific mandate: understand what is here. Not perform understanding, not teach it, not use it for a cause. Understand it. In Hanan Pacha, Kuntur carries this mandate across every domain the pathway enters. The Scholar does not collect knowledge for social currency. The accumulation is the point. Synthesis is how the Scholar earns its own attention. This pathway, given Type 7's breadth of interest, produces a Scholar that covers terrain others never bother to cross.

Guardian Amaru · Inner World · Shamanic Healing

The Healing That Moves Outward

Amaru does not wait for the inner state to shift first; it changes the terrain.

Shamanic Healing in Ukhu Pacha works through environment, through what surrounds the person rather than what is narrated about them. In this pathway, the return to wholeness happens when the Realm Hopper actively reshapes what they move through: changing locations, introducing new knowledge domains, removing stale inputs from the information environment. Amaru is the world-between-worlds intelligence, and here it functions practically. When the external world stops holding live questions, the inner state goes flat. Renewal comes from finding new terrain to enter.

The Scholar's drive to account for everything, routed through Type 7's range of motion, and carried by Shamanic Healing's outward-first approach, produces a pathway that knows more domains than almost any other in the 189 Pathways™. The convergence is specific: this is not scattered attention but cross-domain accumulation. The pathway enters each new field completely, extracts what it holds, and returns changed by the contact. Synthesis happens across realms, not within a single one. That is the mechanism no one dimension produces on its own.

In Your Life

In Love

You bring your latest discovery to a partner like a gift. Sometimes it lands well. Sometimes they want to talk about something closer to home, and you pivot, but the pivot costs you a little focus. A good partnership for you has room for the expeditions and also a place where you come back and say what you actually found. The expedition matters. So does the return.

At Work

You are most useful in the gap between two departments that do not talk to each other. You have been in both rooms. You know what each one doesn't know the other knows. Meetings where you are the only person who has read across two domains are your best work. The friction comes when a role requires you to stay inside one subject for longer than the subject can hold your attention.

In Family

You are the one who researches the thing nobody asked to be researched. The family health question, the historical context of the house you grew up in, the origin of the tradition everyone performs without knowing why. You present the findings at the table. Some family members are fascinated. Some want you to put the phone down. You are usually not sure which reaction you will get.

In Friendship

Your best friends have learned to send you down a topic and wait. You come back with something they did not expect but wanted. The friendship becomes a kind of trade: they tell you what they are working through, you find the angle on it nobody else found, and you deliver it plainly. You are not the friend who offers comfort. You are the friend who finds the missing piece.

What Sets This Apart

The Scholar-7 combination produces range; only this pathway reshapes its outer world to complete the return.

All three Scholar-7 pathways share the same appetite for knowledge and the same capacity to cover intellectual ground quickly. What distinguishes this one is not the range of knowledge it collects but the direction renewal flows. Where the other two pathways work the inner mechanism directly, this one works the surround first.

The Realm Hopper is the Scholar who returns to wholeness by changing the environment, not by changing the explanation.

Soul + Type sibling
The Possibility Researcher

The Possibility Researcher finds its pivot when the repeating pattern becomes visible. The insight itself is the lever. This pathway does not wait for the insight to land; it moves into new terrain and lets the movement do the work the insight would have done. The sequence is reversed: action first, understanding following from the new position.

Soul + Healing sibling
The Bone Reader

The Bone Reader carries the same Scholar soul and the same Shamanic Healing direction, but Type 1 runs a rigorous internal standard before it moves. This pathway runs no such check at the gate. Where The Bone Reader reads the structure carefully before entering, The Realm Hopper enters first and reads on the way through. The knowledge gets gathered; the method of entry is different.

Type + Healing sibling
The Multi-Realm Artist

The Multi-Realm Artist and this pathway share Type 7's range and Shamanic Healing's outward direction. The difference is in purpose. The Artisan Soul makes something from what it gathers; the Scholar Soul accounts for what it finds. The Multi-Realm Artist builds across realms. This pathway maps them.

What You Carry

Gifts

Cross-domain sight

You hold live knowledge from multiple fields at once and spot the connection others miss because they have only ever read in one direction. The overlap is obvious to you and invisible to the room.

Environmental renewal

When a context has gone stale, you act on it. New city, new field, new set of questions. The change is not avoidance; it restores the conditions under which you actually function.

Reluctant synthesis

You summarize across domains without flattening what each holds. The summary arrives when you have collected enough to trust it, and it tends to reframe what the people around you thought they understood.

Friction

Depth versus coverage

The next domain calls before the current one is fully mapped. You leave rooms knowing more than anyone else in them and less than the subject deserves. The incomplete map is the recurring cost.

Unstated threshold

You know when you have collected enough to act, but you cannot always explain how you know. Others ask for the reasoning. You have it, but laying it out takes longer than finding the next question.

Environment as escape

Changing the surround is a genuine renewal strategy for you. It is also the move you make when staying would be the better choice. The two look identical from the outside and sometimes from the inside.

Where This Goes

The shift happens when you stop treating the return as optional.

For a long time, the movement between realms is its own reward. You enter, you collect, you move on. The knowledge accumulates but does not always cohere.
But at a certain point, the people around you need more than the collection. So do you. The work is learning to come back fully, to set down what you gathered and let it settle into something that can be used.

  • You finish the map on a subject before you announce the next one. The gap between entry and delivery closes.
  • You name the pattern in your own environment-changing before someone else does, and you stay anyway.
  • You translate what you collected into language a specific person in front of you can use, not just language that is accurate.

Questions

How does The Realm Hopper handle conflict?

Direct conflict tends to get reframed as an information problem. If both sides understood what the other actually knows, the disagreement would dissolve. This works often enough to be a real skill and rarely enough that it becomes a way of avoiding the argument that actually needs to happen.

How does this pathway grow over time?

Early on, breadth is the primary achievement. Over time, the Scholar's need for a complete account pushes toward synthesis. The shift is from collecting to mapping: assembling what the different realms hold into a structure that holds together and can be handed to someone else.

How are people on this pathway most commonly misunderstood by others?

The speed of movement looks like restlessness or unreliability. Others read the topic-switching as distraction when it is actually accumulation. The Scholar underneath is keeping a careful account; it just does not announce the running total until the map is ready.

What does living this pathway well look like in daily life?

At least one subject currently being followed to its actual end, not just its interesting edge. A physical environment that changes often enough to stay generative. At least one conversation a week where you deliver the synthesis, not just the latest find.

What is the question you are sitting with at this stage of life?

Have you mapped enough realms to know which one asks something of you that you have not yet fully answered? The Scholar eventually has to pick the question that does not let go, not because it is the most interesting, but because it is the one that is actually yours.

Can someone carry The Realm Hopper pathway with different Enneagram wings?

Type 7 wing 6 adds a loyalty to the people already in the room: the cross-domain connections get applied to a specific group's problem, and the range serves a defined community. Type 7 wing 8 adds push: the synthesis gets delivered with force, and the environment changes faster because the threshold for staying in a stale situation is lower.

What is Shamanic Healing and how does it connect to the Enneagram in this pathway?

Shamanic Healing attends to what the person moves through rather than what the person narrates about themselves: the places, relationships, and information environments that either sustain or deplete them. For Type 7, whose range of motion is already high, this approach reinforces the natural impulse to seek new terrain and teaches it to distinguish renewal from avoidance.
