The Serpent - Guardian of Ukhu Pacha

Ukhu Pacha – The Lower World

(OO-koo PAH-chah)

Healing Pathways

It keeps surfacing because it’s not finished. Here’s why.

There’s something you keep coming back to. A relationship you keep recreating. A feeling that surfaces no matter how much has changed around you. What you don’t have is a precise understanding of how your particular nature actually changes – not how healing works in general, but how it moves through you specifically. There are three distinct paths. One has been yours the entire time.

And life stops feeling like a fight you don’t know how to win.

Three Paths. One Has Always Been Yours.

Each reveals a different mechanism of change. Take all three. The one that makes you exhale is the one that fits.

Your Healing Pathway Is One Third of Who You Are.

How you transform is not the whole story. There is also who you are under pressure – your Enneagram. And who you came here to be – your Soul Type. Separately, each one is useful. Together, they produce something that cannot be mistaken for anyone else. One of 189 pathways™. Yours has a name.

Life stops feeling like a fight you don’t know how to win. You understand why you are the way you are, which people are meant to be near you, and what to do next – and you stop trying to be someone you’re not.

What Are the Healing Pathways, and How Do They Work?

What are the three INTI NAN healing pathways?

The three INTI NAN healing pathways are Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy). Each represents a distinct mechanism by which a person transforms. Energy Healing works through the body’s energetic field, nervous system signals, and chakra system. Karmic Healing works through recognition and release of repeating ancestral and soul-level patterns. Shamanic Healing works through environment, nature, ceremony, and connection to the spirit world. One of these three has been operating in you your entire life. The assessments surface which one.

What is Ukhu Pacha, and why does it represent healing?

Ukhu Pacha is the Lower World in Andean Q’ero cosmology. The term translates from Quechua as ‘the world within’ and refers to the realm of the unconscious, ancestral memory, deep transformation, and the roots beneath visible reality. In the INTI NAN three-world framework, Ukhu Pacha is the domain of Healing Pathway, guarded by the Serpent. Just as the Serpent moves beneath the surface and sheds its skin entirely to transform, Ukhu Pacha is where the deepest change occurs, below the level of conscious awareness, in the structure of the patterns themselves.

What is the difference between energy healing, karmic healing, and shamanic healing?

Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy) works through the body’s energetic field: chakras, somatic signals, and the intelligent language of the nervous system. People on this path have always known what their body was saying, even when they lacked the framework to name it. Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy) works through pattern recognition across ancestral lines and past-life cycles. The recurring dynamic, the wall that keeps appearing in different forms, is not random but structural. Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy) works through environment, place, nature, and ceremony. People on this path have always needed to change their surroundings to change their state, often without understanding why.

How does a person discover their healing pathway?

A person discovers their healing pathway through the three free INTI NAN assessments: the Energy Healing Test, the Karmic Healing Test, and the Shamanic Healing Test. Each assessment surfaces how that person’s nature responds to change and transformation. Most people find that one of the three produces immediate recognition, a sense that this is how change has always worked for them, even before they had language for it. Taking all three and noting which one produces the deepest exhale is the most reliable approach.

What is karmic healing?

Karmic healing is a modality of transformation that works through identifying and releasing patterns that repeat across generations or lifetimes. In the INTI NAN framework, karmic healing, known in Quechua as Nawpa Hampiy, is the pathway for people whose most persistent challenges are not random but structured. The same relationship dynamic, the same wall arriving in different forms, the same feeling in different contexts. Karmic healing addresses the pattern at its ancestral or soul-level root rather than its latest surface expression, working with what has been inherited and what has been carried forward from prior lifetimes.

How does Healing Pathway connect to Enneagram and Soul Type in the INTI NAN system?

In the INTI NAN three-world framework, Healing Pathway is one of three coordinates. Healing Pathway, mapped through Ukhu Pacha, reveals how a person transforms. Enneagram type, mapped through Kay Pacha (the Middle World), reveals how a person operates through their core motivation and personality patterns. Soul Type, mapped through Hanan Pacha (the Upper World), reveals who a person is at the level of essential nature. The intersection of all three coordinates produces one of 189 named pathways™, each one specific to a unique combination and existing nowhere outside the INTI NAN system.

The three healing modalities in the INTI NAN system, Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy), are named using Quechua terminology drawn from Andean Q’ero tradition. The Q’ero are the indigenous Andean people of the high Andes of Peru, widely regarded as the keepers of the original Inca spiritual tradition. Their cosmological framework of three worlds, Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, and Ukhu Pacha, is documented across anthropological, historical, and linguistic scholarship as a pre-Hispanic cosmological system rooted in the Quechua language. For further reading on the three-world framework and its academic documentation, see the Pacha (Inca mythology) article, which draws on colonial Quechua sources including the first Quechua dictionaries and the chronicles of Jesuit historian José de Acosta; and Constance Classen, Inca Cosmology and the Human Body (University of Utah Press, 1993).

One World Seen. Two Remain.

Your Healing Pathway shows how you transform. Your Enneagram shows who you are right now. Your Soul Type shows who you came here to be. All three live in you simultaneously.

The Enneagram framework in its modern psychological form was developed by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo in the 1960s and 1970s and has been extensively documented by the Enneagram Institute. The INTI NAN system adapts the Enneagram as one of three dimensions that together map a person’s full pathway.

The Soul Type framework is adapted from the Michael Teachings tradition, originally channelled by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and developed across several decades of study. Within INTI NAN it represents the essence dimension of the pathway – what the person brought in rather than what they learned.

The three-world cosmological structure (Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, Ukhu Pacha) and the three healing modalities – Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy) – are drawn from Andean Q’ero tradition, the indigenous Andean people widely regarded as the keepers of the original Inca spiritual tradition. The framework is documented across anthropological and linguistic scholarship as a pre-Hispanic cosmological system rooted in the Quechua language. For further reading see the Pacha (Inca mythology) article, which draws on colonial Quechua sources including the chronicles of Jesuit historian Jose de Acosta, and Constance Classen, Inca Cosmology and the Human Body (University of Utah Press, 1993).
