How the Soul Age Test
Identifies Your Stage of Soul Development

Some people are naturally more preoccupied with belonging, others with achieving, others with reckoning. That is not personality or upbringing. It is the developmental stage the soul is currently in, and the concerns of that stage cannot really be skipped or hurried through. Which stage you are in shapes what pulls at you, what feels tired, and what still feels new.

The test looks at what you actually orient toward now, not what sounds most spiritually advanced. Nine scenarios ask which concerns still have weight in your life and which have finished. Your answers indicate which of five soul ages best describes your current stage: Infant (finding footing), Baby (belonging to a tradition), Young (proving oneself in the world), Mature (turning inward toward relationship), or Old (detaching and integrating). Every age is legitimate; none is better than the others.

Your Soul Age result refines your Hanan Pacha coordinate, layering underneath your Soul Type to shape how that essence is currently expressing itself. Together with your Enneagram type and Healing dimension it produces the one named pathway among 189 you are already walking.

About This Test

What does the Soul Age Test measure?

The test measures which of five soul ages describes your current stage of development: what your essence is currently preoccupied with, not how many years you have lived. Soul Age sits in the Hanan Pacha (hah-NAHN PAH-chah) The Upper World layer of the three-world system. It is not a rating of maturity or a spiritual score. It asks what concerns still have weight for you and which ones you are done with.

Can your soul age result change if you retake the test?

The stage itself does not shift week to week, but your answers can, because the test reads what you currently notice rather than what you know about yourself. If a retake moves you, the useful question is which specific answers changed and why. In the Hanan Pacha system the stage a soul is in for a lifetime is stable; the way that stage is being lived at any moment can look different.

What are the five soul ages in the INTI NAN system?

Within the Hanan Pacha system, Infant Soul describes people whose essence is new to embodied experience, still finding basic footing in the world. Baby Soul describes people whose essence is oriented toward belonging to a defined community and its rules. Young Soul describes people whose essence is oriented toward achievement, proving, and outward success. Mature Soul describes people whose essence has turned inward, toward emotional truth and complex relationship. Old Soul describes people whose essence has begun detaching from the striving cycle. None is better than the others. Combined with the seven Soul Types, nine Enneagram types, and three Healing dimensions, soul ages contribute nuance to the 189 named pathways™ in the INTI NAN system.

✓ Soul Age ○ Soul Type ○ Enneagram

The Enneagram framework in its modern psychological form was developed by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo in the 1960s and 1970s and has been extensively documented by the Enneagram Institute. The INTI NAN system adapts the Enneagram as one of three dimensions that together map a person's full pathway.

The Soul Type framework is adapted from the Michael Teachings tradition, originally channeled by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and developed across several decades of study. Within INTI NAN it represents the essence dimension of the pathway - what the person brought in rather than what they learned.

The three-world cosmological structure (Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, Ukhu Pacha) and the three healing pathways - Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy) - are drawn from Andean Q'ero tradition, the indigenous Andean people widely regarded as the keepers of the original Inca spiritual tradition.

The framework is documented across anthropological and linguistic scholarship as a pre-Hispanic cosmological system rooted in the Quechua language. For further reading see the Pacha (Inca mythology) article, which draws on colonial Quechua sources including the chronicles of Jesuit historian Jose de Acosta, and Constance Classen, Inca Cosmology and the Human Body (University of Utah Press, 1993).

Disclaimer: The INTI NAN pathway system is a framework for self-discovery and personal growth, not medical, therapeutic, or psychological advice, and not a religious teaching. Pathway descriptions and the Quechua and Andean concepts used throughout the platform are intended to support reflection and should be interpreted as invitations to explore, not definitive diagnoses, prescriptions, or representations of the full depth of living Andean tradition.
