How the Shamanic Healing Test
Identifies Your Mode of Contact

The INTI NAN Shamanic Healing Test identifies the healing layer of your tri-dimensional pathway: how you transform through contact with environment, place, presence, and ceremony, regardless of personality or soul type. Where the Enneagram Discovery Test maps how you respond to the world (Kay Pacha) and the Soul Type Test maps the role you are here to play (Hanan Pacha), this assessment maps how transformation actually happens through you (Ukhu Pacha). This is the dimension most people overlook because it operates outside the rooms where decisions are usually made, in the walks and ceremonies and unexpected encounters that turn out to matter most.

Shamanic Healing is one of three growth paths in the Ukhu Pacha system. It describes people whose answers come from a walk in the woods rather than a notebook, who change in the room with the right person rather than alone with their thoughts. Within Shamanic Healing there are five distinct types: Soul Retrieval (sensing what has been left behind), Power Animal Work (animals arriving with significance), Journey Work (movement and travel as where insight arrives), Plant Medicine (the way certain plants and substances feel like contact with intelligence), and Ancestral and Ceremonial Healing (the pull toward ritual and marked space).

The test asks nine recognition-based questions about how you experience environments, ceremonies, places, animals, and presences. The result either confirms Shamanic Healing as your primary growth path and names which of the five types is specifically yours, or indicates that one of the other healing dimensions (Energy or Karmic) is closer to how you transform. The named result becomes the third coordinate of your INTI NAN pathway, integrating with your Enneagram type and Soul Type to reveal the one named pathway among 189 you are already walking.

About This Test

What does the Shamanic Healing Test measure?

The INTI NAN Shamanic Healing Test identifies whether Shamanic Healing is your primary growth path – the Ukhu Pacha (OOK-hoo PAH-chah) The Lower World coordinate in the three-world system – and if so, which of the five Shamanic types is specifically yours. The test surfaces your type through recognition patterns rather than preference questions – focusing on how you actually experience contact with environments, places, animals, and ceremonies, not what sounds appealing.

How is the Shamanic Healing Test different from the other healing assessments?

The three healing assessments identify three distinct ways of transforming. Shamanic Healing identifies people who transform through environment – the walk that solves the problem, the room that changes the conversation. The Energy Healing Test identifies people whose body knows before the mind catches up. The Karmic Healing Test identifies people who transform through pattern recognition – seeing the cycles that repeat. All three are coordinates toward your named pathway in the INTI NAN system.

What are the five Shamanic Healing types in the INTI NAN system?

The five Shamanic Healing types in the INTI NAN Ukhu Pacha system are Soul Retrieval (sensing what has been left behind in places or relationships), Power Animal Work (animals arriving with significance), Journey Work (movement and travel as where insight actually arrives), Plant Medicine (certain plants and substances feeling like contact with intelligence), and Ancestral and Ceremonial Healing (the pull toward ritual and marked space). Combined with nine Enneagram types and seven Soul Types, they produce 189 named pathways™ in the INTI NAN system.

✓ Shamanic Healing ○ Enneagram ○ Soul Type

The Enneagram framework in its modern psychological form was developed by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo in the 1960s and 1970s and has been extensively documented by the Enneagram Institute. The INTI NAN system adapts the Enneagram as one of three dimensions that together map a person’s full pathway.

The Soul Type framework is adapted from the Michael Teachings tradition, originally channeled by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and developed across several decades of study. Within INTI NAN it represents the essence dimension of the pathway – what the person brought in rather than what they learned.

The three-world cosmological structure (Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, Ukhu Pacha) and the three healing pathways – Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy) – are drawn from Andean Q’ero tradition, the indigenous Andean people widely regarded as the keepers of the original Inca spiritual tradition.

The framework is documented across anthropological and linguistic scholarship as a pre-Hispanic cosmological system rooted in the Quechua language. For further reading see the Pacha (Inca mythology) article, which draws on colonial Quechua sources including the chronicles of Jesuit historian Jose de Acosta, and Constance Classen, Inca Cosmology and the Human Body (University of Utah Press, 1993).

Disclaimer: The INTI NAN pathway system is a framework for self-discovery and personal growth, not a religious teaching. Pathway descriptions and the Quechua and Andean concepts used throughout the platform are intended to support reflection and should be interpreted as invitations to explore, not definitive diagnoses, prescriptions, or representations of the full depth of living Andean tradition.
