What Are the 189 Pathways™?
The 189 Pathways™ are the complete set of identity configurations produced by the INTI NAN tri-dimensional system. Each pathway is generated by the intersection of one of nine Enneagram personality types, one of seven Soul Type archetypes, and one of three Healing Pathways – Energy, Karmic, or Shamanic. That intersection is mathematically unique: 9 × 7 × 3 = 189. No two pathways are the same. No two people who share one dimension will share all three.
Each pathway has a name, an essence, and a medicine. The name is not a label assigned to you – it is a configuration you already carry. What are the 189 Pathways?
The 189 Pathways are the complete set of identity configurations produced by the INTI NAN tri-dimensional system. Each pathway is generated by the intersection of one of nine Enneagram personality types, one of seven Soul Type archetypes (Server, Artisan, Warrior, Scholar, Sage, Priest, and King), and one of three Healing Pathways (Energy Healing, Karmic Healing, and Shamanic Healing). The calculation is 9 × 7 × 3 = 189. Every combination is unique. No two people who share one dimension will share all three.
What is a pathway name, and where do the names come from?
Each of the 189 pathways carries a unique name drawn from Quechua language and Andean Q’ero cosmological tradition. Names include The Quipu Keeper, The Illapa Heart, The Mosqoy Weaver, The Dream Painter, The Wayra Walker, The Nina Qhapaq, The Obsidian Mirror, and The Chakana Bridge. These names are not labels assigned to a person. They are configurations a person already carries. The name describes the specific intersection of soul orientation, personality pattern, and healing mechanism that belongs to that person alone and exists nowhere outside this system.
What is the difference between a Soul Type and a pathway?
A Soul Type is one of seven essential orientations: Server, Artisan, Warrior, Scholar, Sage, Priest, or King. It represents who a soul is at the level of essential nature, mapped through Hanan Pacha (the Upper World). A pathway is the full three-dimensional configuration produced by combining that Soul Type with a specific Enneagram type and a specific Healing Pathway. There are 27 pathways within each Soul Type. The Soul Type is one coordinate. The pathway is the complete address formed by all three coordinates together.
How do I find my pathway?
A person discovers their specific pathway through the Karpay, the INTI NAN tri-dimensional assessment. The Karpay maps all three coordinates simultaneously: Enneagram type through Kay Pacha (the Middle World), Soul Type through Hanan Pacha (the Upper World), and Healing Pathway through Ukhu Pacha (the Lower World). The Enneagram framework in its modern psychological form was developed by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo in the 1960s and 1970s and has been extensively documented by the Enneagram Institute. The INTI NAN system adapts the Enneagram as one of three dimensions that together map a person’s full pathway.
The Soul Type framework is adapted from the Michael Teachings tradition, originally channeled by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and developed across several decades of study. Within INTI NAN it represents the essence dimension of the pathway, what the person brought in rather than what they learned.
The three-world cosmological structure (Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, Ukhu Pacha) and the three healing pathways, Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy), are drawn from Andean Q’ero tradition, the indigenous Andean people widely regarded as the keepers of the original Inca spiritual tradition.
The framework is documented across anthropological and linguistic scholarship as a pre-Hispanic cosmological system rooted in the Quechua language.
