The Origin
You Have Always Known
Something About Yourself
That You Couldn’t Explain.
This is where it starts to make sense.
High in the Andes, where the air thins and the distance between who you are and who you’ve been told to be – becomes impossible to ignore, something was preserved.
The Q’ero people carried it through conquest, through suppression, through centuries of the world insisting it didn’t exist. They kept it in ceremony, in the landscape, in the silence between words.
Not a philosophy. Not a religion. A map.
A map of the person you were before anyone started shaping you into someone else.
You are not walking one path through one world.
You are walking one path through three worlds – simultaneously.
And the version of you that makes complete sense
only appears when you can see all three at once.
For thousands of years, these three dimensions were held together as one map. Not separate systems competing for the truth.
One truth. Three angles. And then the world broke it apart.
Kimsa Pacha
The three worlds you have always been living in
Hanan Pacha
The Upper World
(hah-NAHN PAH-chah)
Who you were before this lifetime shaped you. The orientation you arrived with. Not what you became – what you have always been.
Your Soul Type.

Kay Pacha
The Middle World
(KAY PAH-chah)
The pattern running underneath every decision you make, every room you walk into, every relationship you build. The engine you didn’t choose and can’t switch off.
Your Enneagram Type.

Ukhu Pacha
The Lower World
(OO-koo PAH-chah)
The thing that keeps surfacing. The pattern that won’t release until it’s seen. The specific way your particular nature transforms – not how healing works in general, but how it moves through you.
Your Healing Pathway.
Explore →The Forgetting
As centuries passed, the map broke into pieces. Each fragment drifted into its own tradition, its own language, its own incomplete truth.
The pattern became the Enneagram. The soul’s orientation became spiritual typology. The healing dimension became therapy, modality, practice.
Each one pointing at something real. None of them pointing at the whole thing.
The Seeking
You have probably done this. Taken the test. Read the book. Tried the modality. Gotten something useful from each one and still felt like something was missing.
Not because the frameworks were wrong. Because you were holding fragments of a mirror and trying to see your full face. The 189 Pathways™ exist to show you what the complete reflection looks like.
The Remembering
INTI NAN means “Sun Path” in Quechua – the language of the Andes that outlasted every attempt to silence it.
Not the sun. The path toward it.
This platform exists to put the mirror back together. To show you not just your personality, not just your soul type, not just your healing pathway – but the single coherent picture that emerges when all three align.
INTI NAN opened its doors on Valentine’s Day, 2026. Not by coincidence. Because the path to knowing yourself has always been a love story – the one you’ve been waiting to have with the person you’ve forgotten to love the most.
The 189 Pathways™
When three dimensions align – your Enneagram type, your Soul Type, your Healing Pathway – something emerges that has never been seen before and cannot be mistaken for anyone else.
Not a label that simplifies you. A map precise enough to be yours alone.
189One of these configurations is the one you were born carrying. The others are interesting. Yours will feel like recognition.
You won’t need to be told which one it is.
You’ll know.
What Shifts When You See the Complete Picture
The thing you thought was broken
was a feature of your design you couldn’t read yet.
The pattern that kept returning
was carrying something it needed you to finally see.
The feeling that something was still missing
meant something was. And now you’re looking in the right place.
You don’t become someone new.
You recognize who you’ve always been.
And life stops feeling like a fight you don’t know how to win.
The Map Has Always Existed.
You Just Hadn’t Seen It Yet.
You don’t need to know where to start.
You only need to take one step toward something that has been waiting for you.
In the spirit of wisdom that belongs to everyone – not gatekept for those who can pay – everything you need to discover your pathway is free.
Nine assessments. Nine guides. Three worlds. Your complete pathway.

What Is INTI NAN? A Self-Discovery Platform Built on Andean Wisdom
INTI NAN is a self-knowledge platform that unites three established frameworks – the Enneagram personality system, Soul Type archetypes, and Healing Pathway modalities – into a single integrated map of who you are. Where most personality assessments give you one dimension, INTI NAN gives you three. And the intersection of all three produces one of 189 unique pathways that describes you with a precision no single framework can achieve.
The platform is rooted in the cosmological framework of the Q’ero people of the Andes – specifically the concept of Kimsa Pacha, or Three Worlds: Hanan Pacha (the Upper World, governing soul origin and purpose), Kay Pacha (the Middle World, governing personality and daily patterns), and Ukhu Pacha (the Lower World, governing transformation and healing). These three worlds map directly onto three questions that human beings have asked across every culture and every century: Who are you? Why are you here? Who are you becoming?
These are the questions Living Life explores in essay form – the founding argument of the platform.
The Enneagram on INTI NAN identifies your core type across nine distinct patterns – the motivation driving your behavior before you are conscious of making a choice. The Soul Type system identifies your soul archetype across seven orientations – the essential nature you arrived with before conditioning shaped you. The Healing Pathway identifies your primary modality of transformation across three approaches – Energy, Karmic, and Shamanic – each describing a distinct mechanism through which your particular nature changes and grows.
When all three align, they produce a named pathway – one of 189 configurations that has never existed in exactly that combination before. These are not assigned labels. They are recognized identities. The Karpay Initiation – INTI NAN’s primary assessment experience – guides you through all three dimensions in a single sitting to reveal your complete pathway.
All assessments, guides, and foundational content on INTI NAN are free. The platform is built on the principle that self-knowledge belongs to everyone.
What People Ask About INTI NAN
What is INTI NAN and how is it different from other personality systems?
INTI NAN is a self-knowledge platform that integrates three frameworks into one system: the Enneagram personality system (nine types), Soul Type archetypes (seven orientations: Server, Artisan, Warrior, Scholar, Sage, Priest, and King), and Healing Pathway modalities (Energy, Karmic, and Shamanic). Most personality systems give one dimension of identity. INTI NAN gives three simultaneously, producing one of 189 unique named pathways at their intersection. The platform is rooted in Andean Q’ero cosmology and the concept of Kimsa Pacha – three worlds called Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, and Ukhu Pacha – each governing a distinct dimension of who a person is.
What are the three worlds in INTI NAN?
The three worlds are Hanan Pacha (the Upper World, pronounced hah-NAHN PAH-chah), Kay Pacha (the Middle World, pronounced KAY PAH-chah), and Ukhu Pacha (the Lower World, pronounced OO-koo PAH-chah). These are cosmological concepts from the Q’ero people of the Andes. Hanan Pacha maps to Soul Type – who a person is at the level of essential nature. Kay Pacha maps to the Enneagram – the personality pattern driving behavior before conscious choice. Ukhu Pacha maps to the Healing Pathway – the specific mechanism through which a person transforms and grows. Together, the three worlds are called Kimsa Pacha.
What is the Karpay?
The Karpay is INTI NAN’s primary assessment. It maps all three dimensions in a single sitting and names the specific pathway that belongs to the person taking it. Karpay means initiation in Quechua. The assessment spans 11 chapters. Chapters 0 through 4 are free and reveal the pathway name and its core meaning. The complete initiation is available for $49. Nine free individual tests across the three worlds are also available for those who want to approach the system one dimension at a time before taking the full Karpay.
Who created INTI NAN and why?
INTI NAN was assembled by Merlin MacIntyre, whose own pathway is The Spirit Librarian: Enneagram Type 5, Scholar Soul, Shamanic Healing. The platform opened on Valentine’s Day, 2026. Mac spent fourteen years in banking before leaving to spend time in Vilcabamba, Ecuador – a remote Andean valley where the Q’ero cosmological traditions remain alive in the surrounding landscape. The 189 Pathways were assembled by integrating the Enneagram, Soul Type, and Healing Pathway frameworks within the three-world structure of Andean cosmology. The platform is built on the principle that self-knowledge belongs to everyone, which is why so much of the foundational content is free.
The Andean three-world framework (Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, Ukhu Pacha) is documented in anthropological scholarship on Inca and Andean cosmology, including the Pacha (Inca mythology) article drawing on colonial Quechua lexicons, and Constance Classen, Inca Cosmology and the Human Body (University of Utah Press, 1993).

The Spirit Librarian
“You don’t just know this world. You’ve catalogued several.”
Type 5s build systems to understand what others take for granted. Scholar Souls preserve what the world forgets. Shamanic Healing gathers wisdom from every realm available – seen and unseen. This project isn’t despite who I am. It’s because of it.
Fourteen years building systems in banking. A world of certainty measured in outcomes. That chapter closed. Then the mountains called.
Vilcabamba. The Valley of Longevity. Where even Incan royalty came when they needed to remember who they were. Rivers that have never stopped speaking. Mandango, the Sleeping Inca, guards what time forgot. Something changes in those who stay long enough.
The spirit librarian doesn’t stay in one world. Every realm has its records – patterns held in ceremony, wisdom encoded in landscape, knowledge that only comes sideways. The task is gathering it, organizing it, making it accessible to those who arrive at the door.
Some mornings, the work arrives as if someone is handing it to me. As if the pathways were always being held by someone who knew the way before I did. I am not the source of this. I am the one who writes it down. Not a Paqo. Not an initiated carrier of the Q’ero lineage. What I offer is careful synthesis – reading patterns across three established frameworks (Enneagram, Soul Types, Healing modalities) and holding them inside the Andean three-world structure where they belong.
The 189 pathways weren’t built. They were uncovered. Thread by thread, pattern by pattern, until what had always been there finally became visible. Ancient threads reunited. Reading patterns across time like knots on a cord.
The Spirit Librarian holds what others can’t find. Lets the work speak.
I spent fourteen years in a world that measured certainty in outcomes.
Then I went looking for something the spreadsheets couldn’t hold.
When the pathways took shape, I saw myself in them for the first time.
Not broken. Built for this.
Your pathway is waiting.
And when you see it…
everything before it will finally make sense.
Your pathway has been waiting. Begin your Karpay.
For Sara, who knew the way before I did.
Disclaimer: The INTI NAN pathway system is a framework for self-discovery and personal growth, not a religious teaching. Pathway descriptions and the Quechua and Andean concepts used throughout the platform are intended to support reflection and should be interpreted as invitations to explore, not definitive diagnoses, prescriptions, or representations of the full depth of living Andean tradition.
