Soul Contracts Guide
The same patterns keep appearing in your life. The same lessons. The same challenges in different clothes. That’s not bad luck – that’s your contract trying to fulfill itself.
Understand your life mission, why certain patterns keep appearing, and how to fulfill what your soul came here to do.
Key Questions
What are soul contracts?
Soul contracts are agreements a soul makes before incarnation about the work it came to do this lifetime. In the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha (hah-NAHN PAH-chah) The Upper World system, there are seven contract types – Service, Creation, Champion, Knowledge, Wisdom, Healing, and Leadership. A soul contract is not a limitation. It is an orientation – the specific mission that explains why certain themes keep recurring regardless of circumstances.
How do you identify your soul contract?
Soul contract identification in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha system focuses on recurring patterns rather than preference. The contract reveals itself through what keeps happening regardless of circumstance – the role you end up playing in different jobs, relationships, and phases of life. The recognition pattern is more reliable than a description of traits.
How is a soul contract different from a soul type?
Soul type in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha system identifies what you are – the fundamental role your soul plays across lifetimes. Soul contract identifies what you agreed to do this specific lifetime. A Scholar soul type with a Knowledge Contract is organized around understanding as both essence and mission. A Scholar soul type with a Healing Contract uses understanding to restore wholeness. Both dimensions are Hanan Pacha coordinates.
What is the relationship between soul contracts and the INTI NAN pathway system?
Soul contracts operate within the Hanan Pacha dimension of the INTI NAN three-world system. Like soul type and soul age, a soul contract is one lens on your Hanan Pacha coordinate. Your Enneagram type in Kay Pacha (KAY PAH-chah) The Middle World, your Hanan Pacha dimension, and your Healing Pathway in Ukhu Pacha (OO-koo PAH-chah) The Lower World together produce one of 189 named pathways™. The Karpay (kar-PIE) Sacred initiation maps all three and reveals the specific pathway that is yours.

What Are Soul Contracts in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha System?
Soul contracts are agreements a soul makes before incarnation about the work it came to do this lifetime. In the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha system, the Kuntur (KOON-toor) The Condor holds the wider view of what you agreed to – the specific mission that explains why certain themes keep recurring regardless of circumstances.
Soul contracts describe the patterns that persist across contexts – the same role appearing in different relationships, careers, and phases of life. This persistence distinguishes a soul contract from a preference or a habit. The Michael Teachings provide the foundational framework for soul contracts that the INTI NAN system applies within Hanan Pacha.
The soul contracts framework is one way of understanding why those patterns persist – not as bad luck or personality flaws, but as expressions of what you came here to do. Whether you approach this literally or as a useful map, the patterns themselves are real. The question is whether you are working with them or against them.
What Are the Seven Soul Contract Types?
There are seven soul contract types in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha framework: Service, Creation, Champion, Knowledge, Wisdom, Healing, and Leadership. Each represents a different life mission. Notice which one explains the patterns in your life – not which sounds most appealing or spiritually elevated.
Souls with service contracts came to help. They agreed to develop the capacity for genuine support – learning to give without depleting, to serve without losing themselves. Life constantly presents opportunities to help, and true fulfillment comes through making others’ lives easier. Service Contract paths include The Heart Teacher, The Mama Qocha, and The Heart Paqo.
Souls with creation contracts came to make. They agreed to channel creative energy into form – developing unique vision and the courage to express it. Life constantly presents creative challenges, and fulfillment comes through original contribution. Creation Contract paths include The Vision Weaver, The Mosqoy Weaver, and The Gift Maker.
Souls with champion contracts came to fight. They agreed to develop courage and use it for positive change – standing up, pushing through, protecting the vulnerable. Life constantly presents battles, and fulfillment comes through courageous action. Champion Contract paths include The Power Speaker, The Thunder Voice, and The Shadow Warrior.
Souls with knowledge contracts came to understand. They agreed to develop deep comprehension and eventually share it – researching, learning, making sense of complexity until it forms a picture others cannot see. Life constantly presents mysteries to solve. Knowledge Contract paths include The Quipu Keeper, The Obsidian Mirror, and The Mystery School Guardian.
Souls with wisdom contracts came to teach. They agreed to transform experience into transmittable wisdom – learning through living, then sharing what they learned. Life constantly generates teachable moments, and fulfillment comes through helping others see what they could not see alone. Wisdom Contract paths include The Legacy Priest, The Truth Speaker, and The Clarity Teacher.
Souls with healing contracts came to heal. They agreed to develop sensitivity to pain and the capacity to transform it – becoming a bridge between hurt and wholeness. Life constantly presents opportunities to facilitate healing. Healing Contract paths include The Ceremonial Heart, The Ancestral Healer, and The Mystic Heart.
Souls with leadership contracts came to lead. They agreed to develop mastery and use it to organize resources for collective benefit – building systems, taking responsibility, creating structures that serve many. Life constantly puts them in charge. Leadership Contract paths include The Nina Qhapaq, The Empire Builder, and The Wise Ruler.
What Are the Recognition Patterns for Each Soul Contract?
Each soul contract in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha system has a specific internal signature – a recurring orientation that shows up regardless of context. The recognition pattern names what keeps happening, not what you would prefer to be true.
You feel the needs of others as a form of orientation – not as burden, but as compass. When someone needs something you can provide, moving toward it feels like the natural direction rather than a choice.
Growth edge: Learning when service has run its course. Contracts complete. Releasing what has been fulfilled is part of the work, not a failure of commitment.
You arrived with an orientation toward form – toward making things that did not exist before. The pull to create is not a preference; it is a direction your nature keeps returning to regardless of what else is happening.
Growth edge: Releasing what you have made. Completion and release are part of the contract, not just the making. The work has to leave you to fulfill its purpose.
Certain situations activate something in you that does not activate in others. Not anger – direction. A clear knowing of what you are supposed to do and the willingness to do it regardless of cost.
Growth edge: Discernment – learning which battles are actually yours and which you have taken on because no one else stepped forward. Not every injustice is your assignment.
Incomplete understanding creates an internal pressure that does not resolve until you have a framework that actually accounts for what you are seeing. You do not move on from things you have not understood. The variable others miss, the assumption that does not hold – these are visible before they are named.
Growth edge: Sharing before you feel fully ready. The contract includes transmission, not only accumulation. Others need the framework you are still refining.
You can feel when someone is carrying a distorted frame, and something in you wants to offer the angle that would let them see more clearly. The impulse to illuminate arrives before you have decided to act on it. People have been seeking your perspective for longer than you can remember – not because you positioned yourself, but because the clarity you carry is visible.
Growth edge: Trusting that the transmission is sufficient. You do not need to ensure the lesson lands. You share it; what happens next belongs to them.
You sense the pain beneath the presenting behavior before any analysis has occurred. People cross your threshold carrying things they have not named yet, and they leave having found a language for what they were holding. This has happened more times than you have counted.
Growth edge: Your own restoration. The capacity to hold others’ pain is real; the need to replenish after doing so is equally real and equally valid. The contract cannot be fulfilled from an empty vessel.
You can see the whole field – who has what capacity, where the leverage points are, what the structure should be – before anyone has asked you to assess it. The overview arrives as natural perception. You have ended up responsible for things that were not formally assigned to you, because you could see what was needed and no one else was moving toward it.
Growth edge: Building structures that function without you. The contract is not to be needed indefinitely – it is to build something that outlasts your involvement.
How Do You Recognize Your Soul Contract?
Your soul contract in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha system reveals itself through patterns – the same role you end up playing across different jobs, relationships, and phases of life. The question is not what you want to be, but what keeps finding you regardless of your intentions.
What Keeps Happening?
Look for the recurring theme. Do people always need your help? Do creative projects keep calling? Do you keep finding yourself in charge? The pattern that won’t quit is your contract signature.
What Fulfils You Deeply?
Your contract work feels meaningful even when it’s hard. A service contract soul feels fulfilled helping others even when exhausted. That’s different from what depletes you randomly.
What Won’t Go Away?
You can run from your contract, but you can’t hide. The mission you avoid keeps finding new ways to present itself. What’s the thing you can’t escape no matter what you do?
The Condor‘s Truth: Resistance Confirms
Often we resist our contracts the hardest. The service contract soul who’s tired of helping everyone. The wisdom contract soul who doesn’t want to be the advice person. Your resistance often points to exactly what you came here to do.
How Do You Fulfill Your Soul Contract?
Fulfilling your soul contract in the INTI NAN Hanan Pacha system means doing the work consciously – with awareness of what you are here to do rather than experiencing it as something that keeps happening to you. The Karpay maps all three dimensions and reveals the specific named pathway that is yours.
Name It
The first step is recognition. Once you know your contract, you can stop fighting and start cooperating. What seemed like burden becomes mission. What seemed like curse becomes calling.
Own It
Move from “this keeps happening to me” to “this is what I came here to do.” The shift from victim to agent changes everything. You’re not unlucky – you’re on assignment.
Master It
Once you own your contract, develop the skills to fulfill it excellently. The service soul learns healthy boundaries. The leader learns servant leadership. Excellence in your contract is your life’s work.

The Enneagram framework in its modern psychological form was developed by Oscar Ichazo and Claudio Naranjo in the 1960s and 1970s and has been extensively documented by the Enneagram Institute. The INTI NAN system adapts the Enneagram as one of three dimensions that together map a person’s full pathway.
The Soul Type framework is adapted from the Michael Teachings tradition, originally channeled by Chelsea Quinn Yarbro and developed across several decades of study. Within INTI NAN it represents the essence dimension of the pathway – what the person brought in rather than what they learned.
The three-world cosmological structure (Hanan Pacha, Kay Pacha, Ukhu Pacha) and the three healing pathways – Energy Healing (Kawsay Hampiy), Karmic Healing (Nawpa Hampiy), and Shamanic Healing (Paqo Hampiy) – are drawn from Andean Q’ero tradition, the indigenous Andean people widely regarded as the keepers of the original Inca spiritual tradition.
The framework is documented across anthropological and linguistic scholarship as a pre-Hispanic cosmological system rooted in the Quechua language. For further reading see the Pacha (Inca mythology) article, which draws on colonial Quechua sources including the chronicles of Jesuit historian Jose de Acosta, and Constance Classen, Inca Cosmology and the Human Body (University of Utah Press, 1993).
